Would a tankini work as a maternity swimsuit?

Posted by admin in tankini on 11 26th, 2010

I want to buy a new swimsuit for this summer. I am almost 4 months pregnant, so I need something that will work with my pregnancy but that I can use beyond pregnancy too. Would a tankini work? Or would the top be too short?

depends on how big you get…since its a regular swimsuit, it may not be long enough to cover the belly when it really starts to grow.

i have a maternity one that i got when i was pregnant with my son 3 summers ago. i was about 4 months at the start of summer, and covered me just fine.

is 34a too small to wear an underwire bikini?

im a 34a size and my best friend told me i was too small to wear an underwire bikini. i want the protection of my top staying put better at the beach and the extra lift. am i too small to wear this type of bathing suit?

you probably just want the extra lift more than the protection of not falling off, right?
and i think your ust right, whatever size you are.

What type of bikini for small chests?

What is the best type of bikini top for smaller chests? Is it the bandeau style? Are triangle styles good?

What you really want is something structured. Colorful/patterned pieces also help increase the appearance of the bust. A current trend that is also helpful is the ruffle top! A structured bandeau will help, but don’t get a flat, straight cut, that will really flatten everything out.
