How to turn a tankini into a bikini?

So I went to hawaii about 2 years ago and bought a tankini but only bought the top piece because the bottom peice didn’t match at all so I bought the top and I’ve been using spandex with it for two years and I’m tired of using spandex so I was wondering if there is a way to cut off the top part of the tankini and that will be the top part of the bikini so how can I make a bottom piece with the rest of the bikini?

I don’t think that is possible. Unless you are really good with an sewing machine.
