If she is comfortable wearing it and it isn’t against pool policy, I see no issues. All the swimming lesson female teachers I had in the 70’s wore bikinis.

I look good in one mirror, but bad in another (specifically changing room mirrors)
How can i feel confident in a bikini walking down the beach in hawaii?
If you’re not comfortable in a bikini then don’t wear one. Nothing’s wrong with a one piece or tankini

I’m a guy and my gf dared me to do this, I know she doesnt think i will actually do it…so migh t be fun to show her up. Should I do this? How bad will it be? What are the consequences of doing so? If I do, What kind should I wear etc? Thanks!
Well that’s really weird… Glad I’d never dare my guy to do this…
But if you do go for it make it good. Hot pink!!!

what material is a bathing suit tankini made of and how would i go about sewing my own?
Posted by admin in tankini on 08 17th, 2011i purchased some bathing suit bottoms that haven’t seemed to match any style tankini that ive seen. i figured id try to make my own but with no little sewing experience, where do i start?
Typically with nylon/lycra or polyester/lycra blend fabrics. You’ll need a pattern; you’ll also need to know what grain is and how to cut slippery fabrics accurately (cut with paper).
This is not a good beginner sewing project.
Best sources of swimsuit patterns right now are probably Jalie and KwikSew. Kwiksew’s book, Swim and Action Wear, though dated, is an excellent source for the techniques particular to sewing swimming suits.
